This watch is very elegant and easy to read. The open space between the face and the band is visually striking without being awkward or weird-looking, too. But there were some practical problems with this watch which proved to be deal breakers for me.
The little pin you use to rotate the hands is slick; it is not ridged like most other watches. I could barely grip it, and it took me about five minutes to change the time after removing the watch from the box. Not a good sign. Though soft, the leather band seemed very flimsy and likely to wear through quickly.
If you don't intend to wear this watch daily like I did, it might be a good option for you. In the end, it just wasn't right for me.
I bought this watch a year ago- it stopped a month back. I had the battery replaced but found that it was something to do with the movement itself, not the battery per se, since it works off and on. Looks great, but not as reliable as one would expect it to be.
Save your money and buy a timex carriage instead- I bought one almost two years ago at a slightly lower price than this one and I have had no problems with it whatsoever.
