I needed a watch for certain occasions when I don't want to wear something flashy or expensive looking. For that purpose this fits the bill. But the woven strap probably went out of style around 1992, so don't expect any compliments on this thing. Second down side is that the ticking is LOUD. I can't sleep in the same room as this watch. If those sound like two drawbacks you can live with, this may be the watch for you.
